Step One: A Needs Assessment
The first step in The HSS Process is to meet with each client to assess their data capture needs and wants.
We will work with each customer/prospect to evaluate their opportunities for scannable forms with a view to write the collected data to a customizable database.
We will also evaluate the customer/ prospect’s current forms and data collection strategy (if available) and recommend any changes and additions that could be made based on the project at hand.
In our proposal, we will include a line item budget around each task and deliverable, an outline of a project plan, database layout and report specifications (if desired). From our needs assessment, the client is given the opportunity to change or enhance what HSS presents as a data capture strategy.
HSS will take your paper based data forms and convert them into an electronic scannable form with our designers to either be published in paper, fax, PDA or internet versions.
HSS will create a custom database to collect the customer’s questions into a recorded data set. We also include data dictionaries, which are provided to each client.
HSS can customize a form with add-on questions, open ends, logos and graphics.
In particular, we pay attention to ensure forms are user friendly & easy to use and can even go so far as to include pre-program testing on a small set of respondents prior to full deployment.
